Ministry to adults takes many shapes throughout the year! Besides ministry to men and women specifically, we offer many avenues for adults to be cared for and trained in addition. Consider the ministries listed below and see if they fit for your life. Any questions? Just give us a call at 586-323-1730 and we’d be happy to connect you into a ministry that fits your needs best.
Adult Teaching
Join us each week on Wednesdays at 7 PM for our midweek family services. We offer Bible teachings for the adults while the children and teens meet independently.
Young Adults
The Meeting Place is held on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month at CCC at 8:08 PM. Everyone between the ages of 18-28 is welcome! This group is specifically designed to help you meet with God and meet with people so that you can grow spiritually and socially and fulfill the plan and purpose God has for your life.
Young Marrieds
CCC Young Marrieds is a group that is aimed toward couples in their first years of marriage. With monthly meetings, teachings are offered based on biblical principles about love, marriage & commitment and how to apply them to building a strong foundation in which to build your marriage. The Young Marrieds’ goal is to build couples up through the word of God, fellowship and relationships with other Christian couples.
Fun for Married Couples
Date Night is a group that hosts fun social events approximately every other month for married couples in their 30s, 40s and early 50s. These events are designed to help put names with the faces of the people you see each week at church. Date Nights provide a relaxed, unpressured atmosphere for couples to meet and hopefully create lasting friendships. They can also be a great way to break the ice with friends that may shy away from an invitation to a typical Sunday morning church service.
Single Adults
Stepping Up Singles is an adult group for those who are in their 40s and 50s. This group welcomes all singles who are divorced, widowed or have never married. The purpose of the group is to meet other single Christians in a safe and fun environment. Our mission is to help our brothers and sisters in Christ with their personal needs through prayer, peer counseling and fun activities.
For Our Seniors
The goal of the Golden Heirs is to provide an opportunity for our seniors that are 55 years of age and older to gather for food, fellowship and fun on the third Sunday evening of each month at CCC. We also endeavor to schedule several outings during each year – fun social outings as well as a visit to Bortz nursing home each December to sing Christmas carols for the residents.
Personal Care
CCC’s Personal Care Ministry is focused on individuals within our church family. They seek to provide a nurturing environment for spiritual growth and overcoming the issues and struggles of life. Need someone to talk to? Hoping to mend a broken relationship or grow in your personal understanding of God? Our personal ministers will treat you with the love, grace and confidentiality you need and deserve. Sometime we just need someone to talk with and receive godly advice. If that’s you, then we’re here to help meet that need.
Overcoming Life Issues
Free Indeed provides Bible-based ministry to those seeking freedom from behaviors, attitudes, strongholds and addictions holding them back from being the individuals God has called them to be. We teach Biblical principles applicable to offer the opportunity to break free from the hold of the enemy and to walk confidently in the promises of God. Free Indeed maintains a confidential atmosphere and an environment focused on Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. It’s a comfortable, not-threatening place that offers love – we care about people and want to lead you to overcome the struggles you face!
Life Groups
Life Groups help to build genuine friendships in the church family. They offer encouragement, prayer support and hospitality. Loving others is learning to get involved in other people’s lives and allowing them to get involved in yours. Sharing, loving, walking together! If you want this kind of relationship in your life and church, Life Groups is the answer.
